i’m still finding it hard to really stick to a budget because my income fluctuates so much from month to month. so i’m basically just tracking everything, but not really developing a budget every month. bad, i know, lol.

Excellent post! I like the concept of zero-based budgeting, but like you, I find that every month something pops up that we didn’t plan for.

I don’t know if I’ll try to start setting money aside for this, or if I’ll just switch to a different method of budgeting.

And, a sale isn’t a good deal if it’s an item you don’t need. People can really go overboard on drugstore deals, especially.
