Wow, I know how you feel because I want sooo badly to pay off DH's car note this month. It is scheduled to be paid off next month but being so close is just driving me crazy. I want to scrimp and pay it off this month, right now! However it would make things really tight this month and my head is saying, "What if something happens (car accident, sickness, loss of job) which the emergency fund could not cover and you need a little breathing room?"
So I'm counting pennies and sending in for reimbursement checks to see how close we can get.

Stay positive and I'll be doing a happy dance with you next month!

Ugh, that is such a pain. It seems that no matter how well I think I've prepared our monthly budget, something pops up that I didn't anticipate and throws a wrench in the whole thing.

I think you're doing what works best for you, and that's absolutely the right decision.

BYE credit card!

You're making fabulous progress. It WILL get easier, I promise.
