Menu Plan: 2/14-2/20

by Karen on February 15, 2009

I feel like this weekend flew by abnormally fast. Especially considering how long last week was. :(

But it’s on to a new week, and a new menu plan.

Our total at the grocery store this week was $55. We got a great deal on a nice steak that we split for dinner on Valentine’s Day — ribeye for $4.99 a pound. We enjoyed a lovely steak dinner at home for only $15 (including wine). Can’t beat that!

Here’s our menu plan for the week:

Saturday: Steak, baked potatoes, and creamed spinach
Sunday: Grilled pork chops (we use this recipe, only we don’t stuff the chops) and asparagus
Monday: Leftovers/sandwiches
Tuesday: Quesadillas and refried beans
Wednesday: Potato soup
Thursday: Chicken wraps and oven fries
Friday: Homemade pizza

Check out OrgJunkie for more menu plans.

Have a great Monday!

You may have mentioned this somewhere else on your blog, but does your grocery bill include – toiletries, dog food, laundry soap…etc?

thanks for the inspiration! a meal plan is something I need to get in the habit of making now that I will be working full time. You make it look simple, I like that :)

Kelly’s last blog post..did you know that February is national hot breakfast month?
