Remember my big plans for a relaxing weekend? Yeah, that didn’t happen. I had a baby instead!
Judah Michael was born Saturday, November 27 at 10:38 a.m after an intense 4-hour labor. He was 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and 20 inches long. Yup, he was that big at only 38 weeks. I don’t wanna know how big he would have gotten if he’d hung out in there another two to four weeks.
We survived our first night at home, but we’re still settling in. I’ll be sure to update later this week with more details about his birth and more pictures.
In case you’re curious — Rachel was dead on with her guess for a November 27th birthday; Kacie and Jes both guessed his length correctly at 20 inches; and Bobbi guessed his weight exactly at 8 pounds, 8 ounces. Good guesses! :)
Thanks so much for your support the last nine months! I’m just so glad he’s finally here.
